We are pleased to announce that “Kakuhori Black Tea Benifuki” won the Platinum Award in the black tea category (the highest award in the category) at the Nihoncha AWARD 2023 for the second year in a row, and “Ryokucha Densetsu – Kiwami” won the Fine Product Award in the deep steamed sencha category.

〜What is the Nihoncha AWARD?
The Nihoncha AWARD is a tea competition that began in 2014 and is now in its 10th year.
The judges are not only tea experts, but also consumers, who judge a wide variety of teas.
Of the 538 entries, 20 were awarded Platinum Prizes, and 29 were awarded Fine Product Prizes.
The Platinum Award was awarded to 20 of the 538 entries, and the Fine Product Award was awarded to 29.
